I enjoyed your story, Orrin. I recently turned 70 and I dislike travel more than ever. I haven't traveled near as much as I'm sure you have, but lifelong back problems makes it painful, and I'm bored with it. Air travel is just plain ugly these days, and car travel is not much better. I try to get rid of everything that is not useful to me, except ... my bicycle. I still love cycling.
