I’m not a beginner, but I always enjoy reading why and how others do it. I haven’t journaled for the past year, ever since my mother died. (I was her caregiver for 15-years.) For some reason I haven’t been able to put my thoughts down, which seems odd, because that’s when many people really open up on the page. I think I’m getting a “better grip” on things these days, and my desire to start writing again is returning. Articles like yours are a great help. Thank you for sharing.
