Loved the story, Orrin! I've been a nodder for some time now. However, I've never been good at the post-nod conversation. And you're right, middle age was a joy killer. Maybe the reason I don't converse much is because I keep feeling like I'm stuck in middle age, and the dread that comes with it. At 70 I should be passed that!
